About the Dirt Road Daughter

I come in peace. Hello all! I'm Whitley Gammill, the Dirt Road Daughter. I'm your average country gal, from Roswell, New Mexico. (I'm not an alien, I've never seen one either, just to clear those questions up.)  

Once a country girl, always a country girl. I was raised up on a pig farm. I have been involved with the 4-H program for 12 years, FFA for 5. I have been drug around by dairy heifers, given my Retiring Address in front of 500 FFA members, and worked hard to win those purple banners, blue ribbons, and even some green ones. 

I love arts, craft, and food. I eat a lot (but I'm not fat.) I love food. I love making it. I love eating it. I love watching people each it. I love it. I love art and crafts. I enjoy making hair bows, painting (even though I'm awful at it), and just about anything else that can get me out of doing homework, or cleaning the house. 

I am a family person. Most my weekends are spent with my family, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love my family. They are the ones who I can count on always. There a little strange sometimes, but so am I ..so it works out. My Momma, well she's the bomb dot com. My Daddy, he's a dork, but is so smart. My sister, she always reminds me if I keep eating the way I do, I will get fat, thank goodness for her! 

Love me some song lyric.  I live through song lyrics. I find myself in each and every song. I will sometimes quot or write about song lyrics. It is what I do, and what I enjoy doing!
